Economic impact claims are usually an attendance guess multiplied by an assumed spend. VenuScan.io ENT replaces the guess with verified, at-the-door ground truth — across every business in a district, for a weekend or a season.
What the enterprise layer adds
One pass across every participating business — a tournament weekend, a holiday season, a downtown district. Each location needs a phone and a link: no hardware, no POS integration, no accounts.
Ground truth, not modelled estimates. Postal districts captured at claim with consent, reported only as drive-time bands with small groups suppressed — how far the crowd travelled, never any one person's trail.
How many passes reached two businesses, three, or more; which pairings dominate and how long the gap runs. Counted in aggregate, never named — spend is a till-side total, not anyone's receipt.
A heat map of the district with a time scrubber: drag through a game night and watch activity pool at the rink, then fan out into the shops. Live dashboard, per-widget controls, aggregate data only.
Every admission is written to an append-only cryptographic ledger. Funders verify the chain in their own browser — or fully offline with a standalone verifier that trusts nothing.
Arena basement, crowded rink, dead spots — scans queue on the device and sync when the connection returns, with replay protection so nothing double-counts.
Aggregate-only exports, small groups suppressed, formatted for Environics Analytics ENVISION — PRIZM segmentation over verified visitors without reformatting.
Where it fits
Visiting teams get one pass for the whole town; the town gets verified spillover numbers by Monday.
The digital passport beside the paper one — stamps count themselves, and the season shows up on a live map.
Scrub the heat map through puck drop and last call: how a home game becomes downtown traffic, measured.
Attendance a funder can verify in their own browser, origins formatted for ENVISION — the grant package writes itself.
Participation, repeat visits and cross-shopping by block: the levy conversation with measured activity behind it.
A season of verified door counts per venue — the letter to a prospective tenant carries numbers, not adjectives.
It plugs into what you already run
Selling through Shopify, Stripe checkout, or Etsy? VenuScan listens to the sale and mints the QR admission automatically — you never switch checkout. Any other system: import the manifest as a CSV and the door works the same.
Every campaign gets a public claim page — residents sign themselves up in under a minute, consent to postal-district reporting at claim, and can have their pass re-sent any time. No accounts, no app.
The same hooks that mint a ticket at a third-party sale can hand the buyer the district pass alongside it — ask us to switch it on for your campaign and every ticket buyer arrives already carrying the season.
The commissioning office and the district association share the same verified dataset — same passes, same movement, same reports. Aggregate-only, consent-gated, small groups suppressed. Nobody reconciles spreadsheets.
